Končno parkirana in po 9urah voznje na plaži 😮‍💨 2 kampa po totalno ozkih cestah (svaka čast Mario) zabukirana...Use polno...a je tok folka septembra s kamperji okol? Končno najdla parking...med avtomobili in busi..plačala do torka do 6h zutri in potem dalje via.... 🫢

Corniglia to Manerola - Cinque Terrie

Back on the train to the neighbouring town of Manerola for a stroll and cooking class. A beautiful sea side village with towering terraces and granite marina greeted us. Just a short stroll and we just got to sit and take in the little gem of town.

We made our way to the class for a fresh pesto experience. Drinks, good laugh and serious pesto course saw us soak in more of Manerola and the beautiful coast line. Campari (my favourite new Negroni drink) and Lemoncello Spritz chased up with a local vermentino. A great experience and chatting with fellow travels made it a great afternoon.Read more

Day 2 - CT (Rapallo & Portofino)

On our second day in Cinque Terra (CT) we went up to the last of the five towns - Corniglia. Corniglia is a little different to the other towns in that it is set in the mountains rather than on the sea, and as such has beautiful views! After that we went back north to explore the ritzy end of the Italian Riviera - Rapallo and Portofino. This is where the elite live and vacation and we even did some of the famous ‘walk of kisses’ between the two towns. Day 1 - Cinque Terre

Today we arrived in Cinque Terra (five towns) on the Italian Riviera. They are beautiful little towns full of colourful houses nestled in the rock faces. We are staying in the beautiful Monterosso al Mare and today visited some of the towns including doing the iconic del’amore (Lover’s Lane) walk between Riomaggiore and Manarola. Last night we went and had dinner at a place recommended to us. 3rd génération running the restaurant. I thought I'd try something new to me. Very popular dish because I have seen it so many times on tables. William was willing to have some too. It was pasta with all kînds of seafood called Spaghetti 🍝 alo Scoglio. It was very good. Even William enjoyed it.
Until I found myself dying over the toilet and the bidet at the same time because it was coming out every which way. Guys... the stomach pains were as bad as labor. William was fine. We shared the meal so it wasn't food poisoning. After William doing some research, based on my symtoms, I'm probably alergic to muscles. I've ́never had them before but I've had other shell fish with no problem. I feel like I wasted all day today to recover some but there was no choice. My nurse loved me and took care of me well. Tomorrow, we're off to Pisa then Florence.Read more

Les Cinque Terre jour 2

Hier, nous avons visité les 3 autres villages. Corniglia, Manarola et Vernazza, celui que j'ai préféré.😍 En 2011, c'est celui qui a le plus souffert des pluies torrentielles et une énorme coulée de boue a envahi le village en détruisant toute la rue principale sous 4 m de boue.😢 Ensuite nous sommes montés dans les montagnes qui surplombent la mer. C'était waouh ! 😎 En fait, là où on voit le soleil, c'est lui qui se reflète sur la mer. On l'avait de pleine face.
Hier il y avait beaucoup plus de monde que dimanche. Mais les gens font la rue principale et montent rarement dans les toutes petites rues.Read more

Les Cinque Terre

Aujourd'hui, visite de 2 villages des CINQUE TERRE. Ceux des extrémités. Riomaggiore et Monterosso. Magnifique ! Beaucoup de marches, on s'entraîne pour la tour de Pise 😅. Ce qui est bien, c'est qu'en bas c'est rempli de monde, mais plus tu montes, moins tu croises de personnes. On est plus tranquilles.😄 Vous aurez un aperçu des plages !😅😅Read more

Balade en bateau - Porto Venere

Aujourd'hui, Davide, notre hôte, nous a emmené sur son bateau pendant 3 heures. C'était top ! Nous avons parcouru la baie de la Spezia . L'eau est d'un bleu ! Nous avons donc vu de la mer le village de Porto Vénère et de Lerici, les parcs à moules, une île militaire. La Spezia est une ville un peu comme Toulon, avec un côté militaire et un côté touristique. Ensuite nous sommes allés visiter Porto Vénère qui est considéré comme le 6ème village des cinque terre. Il est tout aussi beau et un peu moins touristique.Read more

Wanderung Monterosso-Vernazza-Cornigli

Heute begann unser Tag mit einem leckeren Frühstück im idyllischen Garten ,umgeben von zahlreichen Blumen,Zitronen-und Orangenbäumen. Top motiviert starteten wir den Trail von Monterosso aus in Richtung Vernazza,ein pittoreskes Dörfchen ,wo wir uns schon bei unseren ersten Besuch in der Cinque Terre verliebt haben.Der Trail geht anfangs sehr steil bergauf ,wo wir schön ins schwitzen gekommen sind.Doch am Ende der ganzen Strapazen wird man mit einer Bilderbuchkulisse belohnt. Nach einer kurzen Rast ging es dann für uns mit dem Zug weiter nach Corniglia.Corniglia ist das einzige der 5 Dörfer das nicht am Meer liegt. Zahlreiche Stufen muss man steigen um ins Zentrum von Corniglia zu gelangen.Corniglia ist auch absolut sehenswert.Von dort aus wanderten wir wieder weiter nach Vernazza wo wir uns einen kleinen Snack gönnten,bevor es zu unseren Ausgangspunkt Monterosso zurück ging.Der letzte Teil war dann doch sehr anstrengend,doch mit gegenseitiger Motivation haben wir auch diese Herausforderung gemeistert.Read more

Sestri Levante

Heute haben wir einen Tagesausflug nach Sestri Levante mit dem Zug gemacht für einen Tagesausflug sehr schön mit vielen kleinen Gässchen,aber für einen Urlaubsaufentalt nicht zu empfehlen viel zu viele Touristen auf engsten Raum(siehe Bilder). Heute war es ein wenig bedeckt und es gab sogar einen kleinen Regenschauer zur Abkühlung ,also perfekt für einen Tagesausflug. Für das Geburtstagskind gab es einen lecker Aperol und einen Lattemachiato und Calamari Fitriert 😋Read more
