A Street Named For A Mistress

    February 13 in Malaysia ⋅ ☁️ 34 °C

A new city and a new opportunity to explore the neighbourhood, hampered somewhat by my slow to heal ankle and knee injuries. We find a place just a little shy of the famous laneway with a setup that’s a little confusing. It seems a number of vendors operate within the one space and once we have that figured out the rest is easy. Particularly the freshly made Portuguese tarts.

Concubine Lane doesn’t wake up until a bit later so we have it and it’s closed shops to ourselves but all the better for some early street art finds.

The rest of the day is spent quietly. We make some small purchases; tiger balm for me and a lanyard for Richard’s phone.
