Day 6 Vilnius

This morning we left Riga with a bus towards Vilnius. Everything went smoothly again and we arrived around noon. We met our host of our accomodation and it turned out that he was kind of a Hippie. His flat had its own old charme and this also in every detail - oldschool. After hearing a part of an old vinyl LP we went out to explore the city center of Vilnius. We were up Gediminas hill with a good view over different city parts. Later we were also strolling through small roads in the old town. Next to the bastion we made a break and returned back to the flat to hear vinyl records again. We carefully selected a best of from the LP collection for the time here including for example Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode and U2. Hearing Depeche Mode in this special environment was terrific. For dinner we went to a local Lithuanian restaurant and pub which offered a variety of food and beers. Afterwards we sat a while in a central place and just enjoyed the cozy night.
