• Sucre la Ciudad Blanca

Sucre was the perfect stop on the way up to the high altitudes of La Paz.

The city is known for its white colonial buildings and its Spanish schools. Its streets reminded me of Spanish coastal towns (minus the sea).
My amazing Spanish teacher Beth took me along to dance classes. I didn't know a single step and was the only beginner, so it was really hard, but I had lots of fun and met some really great people.
And I'll get to see some again! Beth might be teaching Spanish near Lyon for a year, Carlos is going volunteering in Stuttgart (yes Stuttgart Germany, I was bouche b as well, why Stuttgart)
As for my Spanish, unfortunately no big breakthrough, but it definitely got better. If people speak rather slowly and without a strong accent, I understand basically everything. Answering is harder, but I make myself understood.

    Next stop LA PAZ
