Driving to Palm Springs

As usual, Martin packed like crazy the night before, updating all of his To-Do lists while Kyrian helped him to select his clothes to bring. As usual, Kyrian was already organized way in advance! We needed something for hiking in the hot weather, something fancier for a gallery party with The Artist Shag, and then appropriate attire for dinner and various cocktail parties. We got out of the house at lunchtime, and after a quick stop at our Mobile gas station (getting also our traditional road-trip-snack-food, Cool Ranch Doritos) we hit the 134, the 210, the 10, and finally Monterey Road. Boy, it was hot when we arrived! And as if we had announced ourselves, our friends Cinnia and David, pulled up just a second later!
