La Gacilly, artistic village

We listened to Thomas's advice and took a tour around this artistic village. Little stone houses with colorful doors and windows are really charming! And the flowers- they are everywhere(in all of the villages around the country actually)-so pretty!

The outdoor photo exhibition of famous photographers is so big, we were blown away! We didn't expect such large thing in a such a small village. Some of the photos are so big and beautiful, they're even exhibited on a house fascades. Amazing. Some of the others were put in a spiral labirinth under the trees. Magical.

The whole exhibition is strategicaly set through the whole village, so you have the time to really feel the vibe(of people, streets and photos-some of them really left an impact) It actually takes quite a walk if you want to see the whole thing. It took us three hours!(with short coffee break) Time well spent! 👍Read more
