Paul decided a 10-hour day to visit the beaches of Normandy was just too much for him, so he stayed onboard today. I went for a 4-hour tour of the seaside and countryside around Normandy and it was lovely. Temperature was 62 so it was a bit nippy for me, but the sun came out and warmed us up a bit. Also had a short stop for crepes and tea.

Door naar Cherbourg, een grotere plaats. Toch uit de auto en even door het stadje. Daar alsnog Calvados gekocht. Veel palmbomen en een beeld van Napoleon. Ook is ooit de Titannic hiervandaan aan fatale tocht uitgevaren met 200 fransen.
Vervolgens nog naar Port Racine wat de kleinste haven zou zijn. Ook wel een gebied wat wel klein Ierland wordt genoemd. Het is echt heel schitterend!Read more
