On the way to Sofia

Today we journey from Bucharest to Bulgaria. As the route to Sofia was quite extensive, we opted for an overnight stay in Veliko Tarnovo as a brief intermission. Regrettably, the drive was not a pleasant experience. The roads were in poor condition, the scenery was unremarkable, and the traffic regulations, with numerous restrictions and peculiar police encounters, were rather odd.
