Johnstown Flood National Memorial

It was 1889. Days of torrential rains were wreaking havoc for all streams and rivers in this southern PA area. A privately owned dam, which was already a topic of discussion, due to it’s lack of upkeep, was about to be responsible for one of the worst natural disasters. Over 2200 perished.Læs mere
