    Cartagena, Spain

    January 14, 2022 in Spain ⋅ ⛅ 12 °C

today was a cloudy day, so we decided to take care for some organizational stuff... replace the broken fuses, buy oil, petrol, etc. so we needed to drive to cartagena, what a pity 🤪.
cartagena is a nice small town (200.000 inhabitants) with a quite big harbour. besides the historical sites, it offers a nicely restored old town with a cozy pedestrian zone. cafés and restaurant all over and in january perfect for corona times - no tourists, very calm and empty. so i had no worries to visit any store, restaurant or location.
when i'm in cartagena i need to buy shoes at toballe calzados, a spanish shoe factory. they have a store in cartagena and since 1945 they produce leather products 100% made in spain. so this time: two pairs of my favorite slippers, purple winter boots and pink flat summer shoes - all made of 100% soft suede ❤️. i think i'm going to wear the snuggly boots tonight in bed 🤪😂.
