The Canal de Huningue is a shipping canal completed in 1828 in the town of Hunigue in Alsace.

In the town of Huningue itself, the canal's harbor, which had been disused since 1962, was converted into the artificial whitewater area Parc des Eaux Vives between 1992 and 1993.

The canal bed was considerably redesigned, around 50,000 m³ of material was moved, and artificial, partly variable obstacles were built into the course of the river.

The average level of difficulty is level II, in places (e.g. entrance wave) level III.

A canal runs parallel to the 350 m long whitewater canal back to the weir, along which canoeists can paddle back and only have a short portage.

The whitewater park is operated by the city of Huningue.
