Bye bye Croatia

My flight will leave at 8pm and now I'm sitting at the airport.

Split-Kaštela Airport is the most important airport in the country. It serves as the hub of Croatia Airlines. It is located between Trogir and Kaštela, about 12 kilometers northwest of Split, and was opened for air traffic in 1966 and a new terminal opened in 1991.

Before the new terminal was expanded, the airport had a 14,000 square meter arrival and departure hall; at 45,000 square meters, the successor is now more than three times as large.

Not only is it a very beautiful airport, but it is also manageable and well equipped - with enough power sockets!

It's a shame that my vacation is already over, because it's cold and raining in Hamburg - but in a month I'll be back in the sun 🌞 so I'm not really sad and I'm also very much looking forward meeting my love ❤️.Læs mere
