Weltwunder 2: Die Chinesische Mauer

The second of the seven world wonders on our trip around the world we have visited today: The Great Wall of China. Due to the smog in the air we were not able to see really far but what we saw was absolute amazing. Only the way to the wall was very long. We decided to go to Badaling, because that is the only part which one can reach by train. It took us about 3 hours one way from our hotel to go there, but at the end the trip costed 4 Euros only instead of 80 Euros for a tour.

Die Chinesische Mauer ist das zweite Weltwunder das wir auf unserer Weltreise besucht haben. Die Mauer ist wirklich riesig und verläuft kreuz und quer durch die Berge, egal wie steil es gerade ist. Es ist wirklich beeindruckend zu sehen! Leider konnten wir durch den ganzen Smog in der Luft nicht sehr weit schauen, aber der Ausflug hat sich trotzdem gelohnt. Der Weg zur Mauer war jedoch deutlich länger als erwartet. Im Endeffekt waren wir ca. 3 Stunden pro Strecke bis nach Badaling unterwegs.
