Langkawi - Angekommen

We are in Malaysia now :) Yesterday evening we arrived by ferry and the plan for today was to rent a scooter and discover the island. But it was not that easy to find a shop which was opened and still has scooter available. Almost everything is still closed on the island due to Chinese New Year... At the end we found a scooter for tomorrow and as most of the restaurants are closed as well we were lucky to find KFC. Tomorrow we will start our trip around the island.

Jetzt sind wir in Malaysia :) Gestern Abend ging es mit der Fähre von Koh Lipe nach Langkawi. Auch hier merkt man noch sehr die Auswirkungen vom chinesischen Neujahrsfest. Nahezu alle Geschäfte außerhalb der Shopping Malls sind hier geschlossen und so haben wir heute auch den halben Tag damit verbracht einen Roller zu finden den wir mieten können. Entweder waren die Geschäfte geschlossen oder alle Roller bereits verliehen. Am Ende haben wir es geschafft und dank Kentucky Fried Chicken gab es sogar was zu essen für uns. Morgen früh geht es dann los mit unserer Tour um die Insel.Läs mer
