Wieder Richtung Süden!

From Port Stephens we followed the coast to the Jervis Bay to see Hyams Beach again. Unfortunately we weren't able to stay longer than a couple of hours because all campgrounds on this part of the coast are sold out in the moment. (It is Australia Day on Sunday) After some fun in the waves at Hyams Beach we needed to go back into the inland to avoid the bushfires further down the coast. On the way we stopped at the Carrington Falls. All in all a day with a lot of driving but also with a lot to see.

Von Port Stephens ging es für uns nun wieder entlang der Küste gen Süden bis zur Jervis Bay. Unterwegs haben wir an ein paar Aussichtspunkten gehalten bevor wir dann am Hyams Beach, dem weißestem Sandstrand der Welt, im Meer baden waren. Von dort ging es zurück ins landesinnere, denn die südliche Kustenstraße ist leider noch immer wegen der Feuer gesperrt. :( Aber wir haben das beste daraus gemacht und haben uns unterwegs noch die Carrington Falls angesehen. Morgen fahren wir dann in einem Rutsch bis Melbourne.Lue lisää
