Blinman Mine & The Great Wall of China

After a lunch stop in Blinman we continued to the old Blinman Copper Mine. Unfortunately it was closed for the summer but still good enough to walk around a bit. From there we headed slowly back to the Rawnsley Ranger Station but not without stopping at the Great Wall of China and some other great viewpoints.

Weiter ging es zum Mittagessen in den Blinman Pub. Ein typisches Outback Dorf, fernab von allem und mit 610m über NN auch der höchst gelegene Ort in South Australia. Neben 26 Einwohnern dem Pub und einer alten Kupfermine gibt es hier auch nichts zu sehen, weshalb es langsam wieder zurück ging. Auf dem Weg haben wir noch an der "Wall of China" und ein paar anderen Aussichtspunkten gehalten. Es war ein ziemlich cooler Trip durch die Flinders Ranges!Les mer
