Skiathos Town continued

Skiathos had been inhabited since at least 700 BC and has changed hands several times. The ancient Greek inhabitants worshipped Dionysos on the island. The Venitians, Ottomans, and the Nazis all at some point conqured the island. The town was greatly damaged during WWII when the Germans bombed the main town.Read more
