• Visiting the Petrified Forest NP

    The main attraction of the park are the petrified remains of trees that were growing back 225 million years ago in the Triassic when Arizona, North America and pretty much everywhere was still part of the Pangea supercontinent. They'd already petrified before the T Rex was around. Quite amazing to behold. The outside still looks like bark and the trunk of a tree, but the inside have turned completely to stone.Read more
