White Sands National Park

I didn't get a chance to post this stop during the trip. One of the National Parks that we visited was the White Sands National Park. An F16 fighter from the nearby White Sands AirForce base had crashed in the park the month before, so only part of the park was open. We did get to walk on the White (Gypsum) dunes though and we got to see the parks most famous resident, a bleached earless lizard.Lue lisää
