The captain announced some dramatic changes to our itinerary tonight. Our first stop will no longer be Sitka, indeed we won't be traveling there at all. Instead we're going directly to Ketchikan, and will arrive there on Saturday morning. Tonight and tomorrow we will sail up the inner passage rather than the open ocean.

All this to avoid 20 foot swells on the ocean. It seems it will still get choppy, but this will have us avoid storm conditions.Читать далее

ПутешественникThe absolute most sick I have been in my entire life was on a cruise in Alaska with 15 foot waves. It’s MISERABLE. Ketchikan is fun! And just think, if you like this cruise you can go again next year during the summer. Or you can drive there with Della!
