We had a pilot on board to help guide the cruise ship through some straits. I filmed him returning to his vessel.

The captain announced some dramatic changes to our itinerary tonight. Our first stop will no longer be Sitka, indeed we won't be traveling there at all. Instead we're going directly to Ketchikan, andBaca lagi
PengembaraThe absolute most sick I have been in my entire life was on a cruise in Alaska with 15 foot waves. It’s MISERABLE. Ketchikan is fun! And just think, if you like this cruise you can go again next year during the summer. Or you can drive there with Della!

So general warning that swells will reach about 9 foot as weather gets progressively worse through the afternoon. There is now some risk to reaching our revised first stop, Ketchikan. So I guess we'llBaca lagi
PengembaraThe real time news has been over the speaker and on one of the onboard TV stations. They have an app that gets occasional updates too. They're also printing out a daily events paper and leaving it in our rooms.
PengembaraHow we'll get the final decision on Ketchikan, I'm not sure. No update yet, so I guess it's still happening.

It's raining a little and a bit gusty. Needless to say, I'm a bit giddy about the rain. I can't wait to get out in it.

PengembaraI shoot in RAW and jpeg, but I've never tried to work on a RAW. I must try.

This national Park was fabulous and has jumped into my top 3 of the 27 I've seen so far. Fabulous place.
