Day 4: Bushcamp

Last day of the Olifants trail was the best.
A hippo was lying on its side in a small pool and decided mock charge us as we got closer.

We spotted a lone elephant on our "designated" lunch spot. Dennis the guide had to chase it away.

The last evening also had its fair share of excitement. A grazing herd of elephant approached while we were sleeping.
Our tents, tied to a patch of trees, seemed very vulnerable until the elephants smelled us at 40m, trumpeted and turned away. Lots of excitement 2310 at night in the darkもっと詳しく
