Trogir

After an almost perfect night in a bay off Milna - one we had chosen in a hurry after a decision in the evening to leave the Marina, as the summer rates had kicked in at 100 percent more and I knew that sleeping in Marinas was not something I wanted to be doing anyway on GypsyDjango. We traveled today with a mixture of sailing and engine minus strong winds the 19 nm to one of my favorite places in Croatia- Trogir. We were able to tie up for the afternoon in the marina free of charge with concession to do shopping for food as they recognized our boat from the previous owners and the fact that Kevin spent 6 weeks finalizing the purchasing transaction last December. The Croatians are very special people. Using the tender we traveled across the bay to park in the canal amongst the local fishing craft and marveled how safe Croatia is. We then had a brilliant sail as the wind had picked up some 5nm to our sleeping spot for the night. A good day all in all 💕Read more
