Sailing the Mediterranean 2022

Syvota Niklaos to Plataria. Bad storms coming and our final clean of GypsyDjango necessitate a dreaded visit to the town quay for the night. Anticipated last trip with Tony and Clair to Corfu. So today was a big day with washing, scrubbing and polishing. Plataria not a great town but convenient. Many loads of washing done in the official laundromat which turned out to be a machine in the backstreet with one load at a time. I am tired and stressed but need to keep going. Expecting the storm to arrive by midday tomorrow we set our alarms for 5am to beat the storm. At midnight a harsh sound wakes us and Kevin and I rush out to find the boat next to us off anchor and on our port side pushing us onto our other neighbors. An urgent wake up of Tony and the process of tying the rogue boat away from us became the goal. After a stressful hour we retired back to our cabins and deactivated our 5am alarms making the decision not to cross to Corfu but remain at Plataria. Unfortunately causing Tony and Clair to have to make their own way across while we prepared for Paul 😂😂
