🏛️Midyat guest house

In the evening, we visited the famous Midyat Guest House, one of the city's best-known historic buildings. The mansion was built in traditional style using light-colored stone. From its terraces, we enjoyed spectacular views over the rooftops of Midyat. The building became famous through numerous Turkish television series and films. The detailed stone craftsmanship reflects the region's long artistic tradition. During our visit, we explored magnificent courtyards and rooms. The architecture combines Arab, Syriac, and Anatolian influences. The guest house provides an authentic glimpse into historic Midyat. The atmosphere at sunset was especially memorable. Visiting this landmark was a perfect way to end the day.
