⛪️Deyrulzafaran Monastery

Deyrulzafaran Monastery is located just outside Mardin. It is one of the most important monasteries of the Syriac Orthodox Church. The complex is built from light natural stone. The atmosphere feels calm and spiritual. The courtyard is simple and dignified. The monastery has a very long history. It once served as the seat of the patriarch. You can sense deep religious significance here. The view over the plains is impressive. A place full of peace and history.
