A canal cruise

After a walk along the prom, which I imagine is rammed in the summer months, we caught a bus back to the waterfront.

Once there, we took a canal cruise, another activity run by City Sightseeing. Cape Town doesn’t have much of a canal system, so it was a short cruise, but interesting nevertheless. The canal area has all been reclaimed from the sea and is now home to loads of top-end apartments and the six-star One and Only Hotel and Spa – another opportunity for us to see how the other half live!
