The Museum of African Heritage

Within the walls of the Castle of Good Hope, there is a strange but fascinating museum! The Museum of African Heritage is a bizarre eclectic collection of objects representing the Jewish, Muslim, and Christian communities of Cape Town, as well as the geographical areas of District Six and Bo Kaap. There is also a nod to the music 🎶 and festivals of the people of the Cape. The final room has items relating to the apartheid era and its aftermath. It was interesting to browse the exhibits, but we were probably left with more questions than answers! 😀Leggi altro
