    We got up at 5am after a decent night’s sleep. We were happy not to have to take down a tent! Despite the early hour, Henry had made fresh doughnuts for breakfast. He had also laid out a table full of salads, cheese, ham, etc. for us to make ourselves a packed lunch. He had been up since 3am!!

    We were on the road a little earlier than planned. We were heading for the Zambian border, a six-hour drive away. We had a couple of bushy bushy stops on the way, and then stopped at a place called Saucey Sue’s, for toilets and for the chance to spend the last of the grubby US dollars we had been given in Zimbabwe! They sold a whole variety of different biltong, which appealed to some members of our group.
