A tracked lioness in Serengeti NP

We saw a lioness who had just finished an unsuccessful chase of a young impala. She was wearing a collar, indicating that she is part of the park’s conservation programme.

We were able to get very close and take some great photos of her.

From there, we visited a waterhole where we saw hippos and Egyptian geese.Read more
