Lions in the Masai Mara

As we continued, we saw:

• A group of female and juvenile male lions resting under a tree. This was an incredible sighting! Markson managed to get us very close to the animals without disturbing them. The view was so good that he even took his own photos!
• Ducks
• A pair of lions (one male, one female) resting by a stream
• A male lion sleeping under a tree
• A wildebeest skeleton – Markson had seen it being killed by a lion a couple of weeks ago
• Several huge crocodiles

At one point, we stopped by a tree to go to the toilet. We taught Markson to call it ‘bushy bushy’! 😂

We visited a known wildebeest crossing on the Mara River. There were lots of wildebeest and zebra on the opposite bank to where we were, but none of them were making the steep descent today!Leer más
