A walk into town

I was soooo cold overnight! I was wearing almost all my clothes, and I had two thick blankets doubled up - and I still couldn't get warm! As soon as it was light, I got up and went out, figuring that I'd get warm if I moved about 😀.

I walked in the direction Ramesh had pointed out to me yesterday, and came across Trek and Dine which, thankfully, was open and serving breakfast. I ordered the house breakfast and a black coffee. On the menu, it said the breakfast consisted of an omelette and toast. It didn't mention the mountain of fried potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, and onions in a barbecue sauce that came with it! It was good, but there was no way I could finish it! I was just glad to be warm, to be honest 😂.

After breakfast, I headed off on foot to Mcleod Ganj. According to Google maps, it should have taken 26 minutes, but I must have gone wrong somewhere as it took me nearly an hour! Most of it was downhill, but it was very steep with lots of loose stones, so I admit I was taking it slowly.Read more
