The house built for The Beatles

The house that was built especially for the Beatles to stay and write in during their visit is now just a shell, but Navin was keen to point out that it was originally fitted out with baths in the ensuites - unheard of in India!

We explored the other buildings on site, including the 84 meditation chambers built from local river rock. Each of these small cells was intended for the practice of each of the different classic yoga postures that together represent the whole range of human life.
