Vancouver Island - Tofino & Ucluelet

Even though we arrived pretty late on Saturday evening, we were lucky to find a spot at one of the beautiful campgrounds right at the beach in Tofino.

Unfortunately, the weather during our time on the west side wasn’t as sunny as we hoped it would be. However, the low hanging clouds made the beaches and trails look mysterious which was pretty cool too.

After the first night at McKenzie Beach Resort we changed to Bella Pacifica campground which lies in the forest by the beach. (Definitely our favourite camping spot!)

The first day we strolled through Tofino, had Fish and Chips and relaxed at the beach. On Monday we drove south to Ucluelet which is very similar to Tofino. The whole coast between the two towns is a surfers paradise and lots of young people come here to work and travel. Czytaj więcej
