Valley of the Giants Our Way

We were looking forward to seeing the Valley of the Giants (Valle de Los Gigantes). We had the coordinates plugged into the navigator and were on our way when we passed some absolutely magnificent cardón cacti. It was a good time to stretch our legs (the Valley of the Giants was still 100 km away), so we pulled over right outside Punta Prieta and admired God's creation.

It is good we did. When we got to "the" Valley of The Giants, there was nothing to see and the sign had obviously been taken down.

Moral of the story. Don't put off for tomorrow what you can do today.Read more
