Day 1: Shoshone Falls ...or not?

Carter, Sorren and I headed off on the big cross-country adventure! Stop 1 was to be Shoshone Falls...which turned into an unexpected adventure complete with wrong Google maps directions, a somewhat terrifying drive down a very steep one lane/2 way track with steep dropoffs and no guards rails ...and not able to see if cars are coming up (or down). We never made it to the falls but it was an interesting experience.

We DID get to see the Bridge of the Gods along the way which was a nice bonus - especially to a reader of "Wild".Read more
