    November 25 in Taiwan ⋅ ⛅ 19 °C

Another day, another hash trail, life is good in Taipei. Taiwan is doing something right, they are attracting younger and fitter hashers, that love to run. Of all the cities on earth, from my review, this city is the fastest (and one of the only really) growing hash community.

I was certainly the old man of the pack, and it showed, as they left me in the dust early on. The hares said it was a 10 Km trail, but I was able to shave it off a few steps with some observant turns in an effort to stay within sight of the pack.

I need to be careful with how I say this, but . . . The only issue I had with trail, was the complete lack of checks to slow down the FRBs . . . and in my experience, what makes hashing so much fun. Finding the trail and breaking the checks . . . basically, playing the game of hare & Hounds. While we still had to find the arrows (and flour blobs), it felt more like a training run. This club is obviously successful, so I do NOT want to discourage their method at all, this is just an observation.

Overall, it was an excellent night for a hash, and the trail was mostly off pavement on grass pathways. Well done to the NBH3 for a fun evening.
