You're in Bear Country

We saw 15 bears between Iskut and Kitwanga, but all were well fed and let us pass without much trouble. We enjoyed delicious food, including morels lovingly harvested and given to us by Ethan Allen, and eaten with a Yukon Parks spork care of Sara Nielsen. Finishing the Cassiar made it feel like we were starting to make some real progress.Read more
