Redwoods Parkway

After yet another detour in the park we got to the Newton Drury Scenic Parkway and enjoyed coasting down through the redwoods awed by their size and beauty. We got to see the corkscrew tree, and Big Tree, estimated to be older than 1500 years and part of what propelled conservationists to mobilize to protect the old growth redwood forests, before the last of these giants were logged.Weiterlesen
