Land of the Affluent

We headed to Saint Tropez for our rest day. First we visited the very busy market, then rode and walked through the narrow designer store-filled streets, finally getting away from the ritzy bubble of the town to spend some quieter time on the beach. Claire made some new friends (who had beach toys) - she is getting less shy about introducing herself to others and getting to play with new buddies on this trip, which is very cool to see. After we had our fill of playing in the sand (and Karl napping), we headed back into town for a short visit of the Butterfly Museum before heading back to Cogolin, where the locals were still marching.
