Gorges de l'Ardèche

We like rocks and canyons, so the Gorges de l'Ardèche was an obvious destination. Karl had hoped to paddle part of the Ardèche River through the canyon, but it turns out there is a prefectorale order preventing children under 7 years old from paddling the river without a guide (if only they knew the rivers we have paddled with Claire!), so we had to settle on riding along the canyon instead. The road didn't disappoint, allowing for a lunch break at the Pont d'Arc (with a swim for the brave, aka Karl and Claire), then a climb up to multiple view points along the rolling scenic road.Leggi altro
