We hadn't quite rested yet since landing at Jean-Paul and Claude's in Villard d'Héry, so we took a chill morning to check out the garden, swim and eat a delicious BBQ lunch. After a good nap for Claire, we headed to Chambery to explore the historical city. The narrow passageways were pretty impressive in this city built all on piles, where the Count of Savoie lived.
