Village school!

On our hike from the campsite around the local area we visited a village school. The school ranges from grade 1-5. The children only learn their mother tongue (Gujarat) and their linking language (Hindi) until standard 5 where they are introduced to English.

The school has 72 students that attend from 10.30-5pm in winter and 7-12 in summer.

For the students to continue their schooling hey have to travel to the next village where their school ranges from standard 1-12.Read more
