Ennis - Cliffs of Moher - Killarney

We enjoyed an Irish meal in Ennis last night and met a couple of hard case local lads. We also enjoyed some Irish music. Awesome!! This morning we had a quick tour of Ennis and then drove through the countryside to the Cliffs of Moher. They were outstanding,
incredible scenery and views!! A real highlight. We drove on to Killimer where we crossed the ferry over to Tarbert and from there we reached our destination Killarney.Read more

Killarney - Ring of Kerry

This morning we begin our journey around the inspiring Ring of Kerry. (the South West of Ireland) Our first stop is at Kerry Bog Village.
(A village of the Pioneer ancestors of Ireland), Very harsh conditions - and of course we have to have an Irish coffee here. Our next stop is at Skellig where we have an insight into the lives of the early monks. They chisled a monastery out of rock on a remote rugged island 1hr by boat from here in 600AD.
The Vikings first landed here in 812AD and several more times after that and raided everything.
The scenery in the Ring of Kerry is stunning, remote and rugged. A great afternoon.Read more
