A friendly face from home!

My friend Marcella emailed me yesterday to let me know that Nan Schulman from our Camino group in Oregon was volunteering as a hospitalera "somewhere on the Meseta". It turned out that the town she's in was a good stopping point for me today.

This is a very quiet town of about 150 people. Quite a few of the buildings are built of straw and adobe.Read more
