We arrived home yesterday after a very looong couple of days of travel.
We had a very tight connection in Newark for our flight to San Francisco. Unfortunately, that flight was delayed 3+ hours due to weather delays. The plane was fully boarded when they announced that we had no pilot. The pilots were still on the ground in Washington DC waiting for the weather to clear.
We arrived at SFO after boarding for our flight to Medford had closed. So we spent the night at a hotel near the airport. I had gotten used to the low Uber prices in Portugal, and it was painful to pay more than $33 for a 6 minute ride!Read more
