When I was at Finisterre last year it was so cloudy and foggy that I wasn't able to see the sunset. I'm happy that I got to experience it this year. I'm also happy that I didn't have a terrible coldЧитать далее

Beautiful day in Muxia. There was a festival featuring pirates and bagpipes. Bagpipes in Spain might seem strange, but this corner of Spain, Galicia, has a strong Celtic heritage.

ПутешественникI got to Santiago on Monday. I was going to start walking to Finisterre with Dom and Jo, the Australian couple we met back in Larrasoaña, but Dom got sick, so they rested a day, then took the bus.

It's a tinto de verano - red wine and lemon soda. Usually they are mixed together, but they layered the wine over the soda.

I walked about 21 miles today. There was no where to stop for the last 10.75 miles, but fortunately, the weather has been very good. About 80° with a breeze. My feet are very sore!
