Very early start to avoid traffic jam

The day visit to Algonquin Provincial Park is about 650 kms round trip, driving along the HW60, including a quick visit to Opeongo Lake for possible sighting of moose, grey jay, hawk, and fox; a short hike to Lookout Trail for fall-colour photos. Visitor Centre, West Gate and Art Centre are also on our stopping list.

HW400, 401 and 403 are the busiest highways. In order to avoid traffic jam we hit the road around 6am and return after 7 pm.Leia mais
