This visitor information centre serves multiple purposes: visitor service, exhibits of wild animals, mining industry around the city, gift shop, RV / camp site with 3 services, as well as road conditions information. Campers even not staying overnight are still allowed to add water and charge batteries for free. I asked if someone can stay at parking lot without reservation. According to the staff, while it is legal for boon-docking in Labrador, staying here at parking lot should be considered as using a unserviced site since this place is a registered camp site.
