Passing Château d'Annecy 路过安纳西城堡

On our way from Geneva Switzerland to Valence France we stopped by Château d'Annecy.
Château d'Annecy is a landmark medieval castle in the old town of Annecy, in the Haute-Savoie department of France. It has been classified as a French historical monument. Perched on the highest point of the old town, it offers a sweeping view over the entire city and the breathtaking scenery of Lake Annecy. The castle was built between the 12th and 16th centuries and originally served as the residence of the Counts of Geneva. After the Counts' line died out in 1394, the castle passed to the Counts of Savoy. Abandoned in the 17th century due to a fire and other causes, it was later used for many years as a military barracks until 1947. In 1953, the city of Annecy purchased and restored it, transforming it into a castle museum.
